Defender Td5 100″ gets Spidertrax Spider 9’s!

Again another nice project for our team in the workshop!

This very nice equipped Defender Td5 90 which is stretched to 100″ using Gigglepin rear trailing arms will get Spidertrax Spider 9 axles with Hi9 ARB diffs, 4340 halfshafts!

The truck already had King 2,5″ Coilovers in the rear, but will now get the same coilovers in the front in combination with full hydraulic steering using HOWE components!

As mentioned before on this blog, D&G 4×4 Tuning is able to supply a bolt on kit for Land Rover Defenders meaning that you can replace your original axle with a Spidertrax Spider 9 and keep the existing suspension (springs, shocks, trailing arms) and propshaft.

As this Truck already had Gigglepin trailing arms with Johnny joints in the rear we will use these and replace the original front ones with North Offroad Front trailing arms with Johnny joints. Also the front axle will come forward a few inches to create the best possible approach angle!

The rear axle is completely ready to be painted and installed and we are now working on the front axle with the coilovers and full hydraulic steering!
